Over the weekend, a video of Brad Kane and Lea Salonga, the original voice singers for Aladdin and Jasmine, performing A Whole New World on Good Morning America ahead of this week’s release of the movie on Blue Ray.  They also mentioned that this year is the 23rd anniversary of the movie.  It can’t possibly be nearly a quarter of a century since Steve from Full House befriended Robin Williams in order to win the heart of an Arabian princess.  It just can’t.  That would mean I’m old and I’m not old, dammit.

Today’s video of the day is of the original recording of A Whole New World.  I’ve loved this song for 23 years and even performed my very first solo to this song when I was in 5th grade back in 1997.  Obviously, I was nowhere near as good as these guys, but that day was the most terrifyingly fun day of my life.

Romance novels have been a part of my life since I was 14 years old and one of my neighbors dropped off a laundry basket full of Harlequins. From that day on, my nose was always in a book. I started my first review site in 2013, but took some time off for personal issues in 2018.
