While I was reading Jingle Bell Harbor by Tracy Brogan, I kept thinking about this song that was all over the radio at Christmas time when I was a kid.  It was perfect for Kelsey’s attitude at the beginning of the book.  Apparently, year long Christmas stores are an actual thing in Kelsey’s world.  I’ve never seen a year long Christmas store in my life, but I’m sure working in one in June when it is 90 degrees out and all you want to do is curl up and die, it would be a little much.  But, then I’m the type of person that can listen to Christmas music all year round, despite being an Atheist, mind you, so maybe I wouldn’t have a problem hanging out in that type of store.

Romance novels have been a part of my life since I was 14 years old and one of my neighbors dropped off a laundry basket full of Harlequins. From that day on, my nose was always in a book. I started my first review site in 2013, but took some time off for personal issues in 2018.
