Thirty-five years ago today, we lost a good man.  Together with his wife, Yoko Ono, John Lennon preached peace in his life and in his music.  This song, Happy X-mas (War is Over), is particularly apt for the world today.  It seems like every single day we’re memorializing more people whose lives were lost to senseless violence whether it comes from ordinary criminal acts or terrorism.  Too many people are lost because we’ve all lost sight of the true meaning of life.  It isn’t to kill those who disagree with us, but to love and respect one another.  It is to make a positive difference in the world through our actions–not just our thoughts.  Thoughts without actions are meaningless and “An eye for an eye will make us all blind.”

Romance novels have been a part of my life since I was 14 years old and one of my neighbors dropped off a laundry basket full of Harlequins. From that day on, my nose was always in a book. I started my first review site in 2013, but took some time off for personal issues in 2018.
